About Me

I will do my best to validate your strengths and the challenges you face, while gently encouraging you towards greater awareness and self-empowerment. I will try to adjust to your personality and unique needs as best as I can. Some clients are looking for a place to talk and be heard, while other clients are simply seeking practical guidance and solutions. Your help in this process is greatly welcomed of course!

I believe my biggest strength as a therapist is my consistent dedication to doing my own therapy and internal transformation work. I take this commitment very seriously and I actually value it more than what I can read in a book or learn at a training.

I received my bachelors degree from the University of Washington and my masters degree from Bastyr University and I am dually licensed as a mental health counselor (LMHC), and a certified nutritionist (CN). Before starting my own practice, I worked for Seattle Counseling Service, a community mental health agency that serves the LGBTQ community.
